Welcome New Parents
Welcome to my lactation consultant website. My name is Ashley, and I am a caring and passionate lactation consultant with an abundance of experience with new moms. Lactation consultant visits are available both in-home and virtual depending on breastfeeding needs and COVID-19 restrictions. During a home visit, I will assess the breastfeeding relationship while gently guiding mom (and dad) through the process.
I have a doctorate in public health, where I focused my research on breastfeeding success. Through my research, it has been proven that the infant’s father’s involvement as part of the breastfeeding team can help increase breastfeeding success. I also encourage the infant’s father to join the appointments.
As an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant, I have the knowledge and tools to help moms and their infants in many breastfeeding situations. When scheduling an appointment, the fee will include a 1 to 1 1/2-hour visit and a week of follow-up communication through phone, text, or email.
I am in-network with Aetna and United Health Care plans, with more health insurance plans in the works. In-network coverage is based on your plan. When reaching out for an appointment, please let me know if you are a member of any of these health insurance plans and we can discuss how I work with these health insurance companies.
” Ashley is warm and knowledgeable. She not only provided me and my baby with excellent care but she gave me the peace of mind and confidence that I needed…”
